Bono just made $1 billion thanks to Facebook

Justin Timberlake‘s speech in The Social Network probably meant a lot to Bono because he now knows exactly how cool a billion dollars is.
After investing in Facebook in 2009, the U2 frontman is set to make a $1 billion thanks to his investment company, Elevation Partners, who bought $210 million worth of shares in the website two years back. Thus, with the social media site now worth $65 billion, Bono and co. are set to hit the jackpot which is likely a huge relief since they obviously need the money desperately. [via NME]
