The Raconteurs returning to the stage this September

We told you the world wasn’t going to end after the White Stripes broke up, and now we’ve got proof: after a two year performance hiatus, The Raconteurs are taking to the stage once more to prove that no matter how great of a job you think you have, Jack White‘s trumps it.
Scheduled to appear at the Michigan International Speedway in Brookyln, Michigan on September 17, the band will be part of a lineup that boasts Sheryl Crowe (okay?), The Romantics, Mitch Ryder and more, and while no announcement’s been made of further dates or even a follow-up album, we can (and will) use this performance to breathe new life into our hopes and dreams.
