Tom Felton, better known as creepy platinum blond dude Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, says he’s a rapper now. No, seriously. The 23-year-old tells the Sun (in an interview hilariously titled Snoop Hoggy Hogwarts) that he’s looking to “get into the grime rap UK scene,” and that he’s already signed to an independent UK label.

Claiming Dappy of British hip-hop collective N-Dubz as his inspiration, Felton says he’ll be changing his image for what we can only assume will be a long, prosperous and totally legitimate career as an MC.

Slytherin super-fans will  tell you that this isn’t Felton’s first stint as a musician. The actor briefly moonlit as a Mraz-y English pop singer last year, with five of his hook-y cuts currently available on iTunes (listen to “Hawaii” below).

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, the eighth and final Harry Potter film, opens this Friday.
