Stephen Colbert unveils new Jack White-produced record

All week we’ve been bringing you videos of Stephen Colbert’s latest (and one of his best) feature entitled 2011: A Rock Odyssey with Jack White, a three-part mini doc about the Comedy Central host trying to reemerged himself as the once famous musician in the ’80s who fronted the band Stephen and the Colberts.

The third and final episode was shown last night and includes Colbert vising the Third Man Records store, trying out a new wardrobe, doing a photo shoot with his new band The Black Bells, a sit-down interview with Jack White, the unveiling of his new record with the song “Charlene II (I’m Over You)” as well as its live debut performance.

Apparently Colbert and White will be at Third Man Records this afternoon selling copies of the 7″, which is also available to purchase on their website.
