Today in WTF: Mariah Carey gave birth while watching a video of her own concert

So Mariah Carey had twins last month and she apparently wanted them to be born to the sound of one of her songs, so while giving birth, she played a video of her performing “Fantasy” at Madison Square Garden. Yes.

“My wife wanted to make sure that when the babies came out, that they came out not only to a Mariah Carey song, but a live performance from Mariah Carey,” CNN reports husband Nick Cannon telling to Oprah’s best friend, Gayle King. “They came out to a round of applause.”

Indeed. A slow, deliberate round of applause, from us. Celebrities: continuously amazing.
