Ted Leo is set to record a new album—sort of—he’ll plug in an electric guitar and play live to analog tape in Jack White’s Third Man studio for a Live at Third Man album.
The album will be recorded on May 10, and will be pressed to vinyl as is the standard for Third Man releases. According to the Third Man website, they’ve put in a request, too: “We’ve already requested his non-ironic cover of “Dancing in the Dark” (he is from Jersey after all) and who knows what other gems from his illustrious back-catalog he’ll roll out.”
“Since U Been Gone,” anyone?
