The now-intolerable MySpace has released an app allowing musicians to sync their profiles into Facebook pages, a platform that, along with Bandcamp, is increasingly the place for bands to showcase their music and relevant info. Just search “MySpace Music App” on Facebook, install, and all of your band’s content—music, photos, tour dates, etc.—is there on a new tab on your Facebook page.

Sam Wick, head of marketing, programming and entertainment at Myspace, says “We believe by allowing artists to use an app that feeds into Facebook, it reinforces the need to post content to Myspace.” Maybe, but mostly it gives the rest of us—the ones not using MySpace as more than a last resort—no reason to go to the site ever, ever again. Let us celebrate. [via Mashable]
