Rebecca Black target of death threats

Everybody hates “Friday,” but claims that 13-year-old Rebecca Black is now the recipient of death threats is taking the anti-fun, fun, fun stance a little too far.

Reuters reports that Anaheim police are investigating two death threats made in March that were “related to getting the music off the internet or they were going to kill her,” and while they “can’t validate how serious” the threats were, “they will work towards prosecution” if necessary.

If it’s any consolation to Rebecca Black, she can now forget the fact that the song has more YouTube hits than Gaga or Bieber, because death threats are the true sign that you’ve officially made it.
