Shad won! His excellent (and what many thought to be the frontrunner for last year’s Polaris Prize) TSOL album won a Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year over the weekend, the funny timing of which was not lost on him as he just last week penned a piece for the Vancouver Sun suggesting the awards be given to everyday, unsung heroes.

Early this morning, Shad took to his blog to express great bewilderment and gratitude for the events that transpired over the weekend. “I met some of my musical heroes, toasted with colleagues, and was flooded with emails and txt msgs [sic] from most of my favourite people in the world, among other fun, joyous things,” Shad wrote, before debuting a new song he did with Halifax’s Skratch Bastid, fittingly titled “Give You All I Can.”

Shad, you don’t owe us anything, but we’ll take it. Complete with that photo of Mase you used in the Youtube file. Thanks! The song can be heard below.
