In the latest issue of British publication Mojo Magazine (the one that usually runs you at least $12, but always comes with a CD), several artists pay tribute to Neil Young’s 1972 album Harvest. One of those artists is folk/alt-country band Phosphorescent who take on Young’s “Are You Ready for the Country?” (available to stream below). It’s a pretty straight forward cover, but we hope it inspires someone to check out the Canadian legend’s earlier material or at least the Matthew Houck-fronted Phosphorescent, who put out a new LP called Here’s To Taking It Easy last year.
