NPR is currently running a great feature called So You Think You’re A Superfan that features photos and stories of people meeting their favourite band or musician. We’ve probably all been there, so there’s something compelling about these strangers sharing a moment that at the time, probably felt like the best moment of their life.

From the above photo of a fan being dipped by Henry Rollins to the woman who had Brett Michaels autograph her shoulder (which she’d later get tattooed on) to a quick encounter with Fiona Apple (which can be seen below), the photos and stories are endearing and a bit uncomfortable.
