Since it’s impossible to address the total madness of the music industry in only five days, Pop Uncultured saves some of the week’s strangest stories for Friday afternoon. Enjoy?

Despite Detox being 11 years in the making, Dr. Dre will now take “a break” from the game, choosing to focus on spending time with his family until he feels the need to return to the studio. Americans have something to be especially thankful for now that a gang of Canadians will help ring in their national holiday during their favourite sport in all the land. We can only assume that the announcement was made after an official burst in and declared, “Guess who’s coming to dinner!”

And now would be the perfect time for Annie Lennox to drop her video for “Toxic”.
