Hole members reunite for Q&A at Patty Schemel documentary screening

Ah, the glory days. Last night in New York City, the members of Celebrity Skin era Hole were all together for the first time in thirteen years. The occasion? The NYC premiere of Hit So Hard, a documentary about former Hole drummer Patty Schemel, as part of the New Directors New Films festival.

The film itself is a behind-the-scenes look at Schemel’s troubled life, including the destructive drug abuse through the band’s early ’90s grunge heyday that led to her replacement in Hole before the release of Celebrity Skin. The quasi band reunion, perhaps, a burying of hatchets? A sign of music to come? We’re totally speculating but hey, we can hope. [via Movieline]
