This morning's new music news; The Flaming Lips will release a new box set on Record Store Day, The Rolling Stones are preparing to release a singles compilation album and AC/DC's concert doc 'Let There Be Light' will finally be available on DVD.

The Flaming Lips will release a new box set containing material from the early ’90s to early 2000s entitled Heady Nuggs: The First Five Warner Bros. Records 1992 – 2001. It will be released on Record Store Day, April 16. [Exclaim!]

The Rolling Stones will be putting out a new compilation album featuring 45 of their singles from the past four decades. A total of 173 tracks will appear on the album, with 83 not officially available elsewhere. It will be released in the UK on April 11. [NME]

And AC/DC’s concert documentary Let There Be Light will finally be available on DVD in June. The footage in the film was taken from the band’s 1979 gig at the Pavillion De Paris in France. [Consequence of Sound]
