This morning's new music news; Young Galaxy's 'Shapeshifting' is currently streaming online, Vivian Girls have released the first track off their upcoming album and The Pigeon Detectives will put out their new album in April.

Young Galaxy’s forthcoming album Shapeshifting (due out February 8) is currently streaming in its entirety over at Exclaim!. The album was sent overseas and produced by Studio’s Dan Lissvik over a nine-month process.

Vivian Girls have released the first track from their upcoming album entitled Share The Joy, which will come out April 12, as a free download. The new track is called “I Heard You Say”. [Polyvinyl]

And The Pigeon Detectives will put out a new album called Up, Guards And At ‘Em! on April 4 in the UK. Its first single “Done In Secret” will arrive late March. [NME]
