Black Lips and Vivian Girls are both releasing new albums this year; now they look to be celebrating together as well with a North American tour that’s set to make two stops in Canada.
Word is, the Georgia-based quartet are looking to release their as-yet-untitled record, produced by Mark Ronson, on April 5. Vivian Girls’ Share The Joy is also expected sometime this Spring.
The two bands—and a few others like the Strange Boys, Turbo Fruits and Quintron and Miss Pussycat—will also be playing together on the Bruise Cruise, but when they return they’ll be embarking on a 20-date tour of North American, with Canadian dates scheduled in Toronto and Montreal.
Black Lips/Vivian Girls Canadian Tour Dates:
April 15 – Le National – Montreal
April 16 – Phoenix Concert Theatre – Toronto
