Madonna supports Lady Gaga's "Born This Way"

After the premiere of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” on Friday, the world raised an inquisitive eyebrow at the similarities between the latest Mama Monster track and Madonna’s legendary “Express Yourself”—furthered only by the ‘experimental’ songstress emerging from her egg to channel the original Queen of Pop throughout her performance at this Sunday’s Grammys.
But despite certain members of the population brandishing pitchforks and cone bras, Lady Gaga maintains that Madonna has bestowed her blessing (in email form), telling Jay Leno that Madge’s “people and her [have sent] their love and complete support on behalf of the single.” Likely the message of a lifetime, considering Gaga also revealed that “there is really no one that is a more adoring and loving Madonna fan than me.” [via MTV]
