Young Galaxy reschedule tour, give away free mp3

Starting in mid-March, Young Galaxy will be hitting the road with Winter Gloves for a tour of the US in support of their forthcoming LP, Shapeshifting, set to follow 2009’s Invisible Republic, which was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize.

The new record, said to be “unlike anything they’ve done before,” arrives February 8th via Paper Bag. Originally recorded in Montreal and mixed overseas by Dan Lissvik, one half of Swedish duo Studio, “the finished album is a thing of cold reverb, hot drums and synth.” The track “We Have Everything” from the new album is available to stream and download below.
