Download of the Week: Winter Gloves' "Plastic Slides"

School’s back in action and if you’re there, you probably already need something to get you up to par again (yeah, already). Take Winter Gloves with you in your pocket, especially with “Plastic Slides,” which is available for you to download this week.

The song is cool because it has a lot of different fun moments to it. Charles F goes from muffled vocals to fun oo’s and then his keyboard goes into a bubbly wordless chorus, and then it all repeats in different verses. Winter Gloves, a Montreal pop-rock four piece, released their sophomore album All Red on September 7^th, and it can be your confidence’s newest ammo. “I’ve got your picture in my pocket and I keep it for the right time,” F sings. Time to take that picture out, put it up in the locker, and play the song while you swagger to your next class.
