If there’s anything that society lacks, it’s novelty music albums. And if the popularity of the Lonely Islands’ “I Just Had Sex” has taught us anything, it’s that as long as something’s “funny because it’s true” and/or completely outlandish (read: still funny because it’s true), society’s downfalls can be combated by a well-placed one-liner.

Luckily, in the spirit of celebrity collaborations yielding high five-worthy results, Will Ferrell may be recording a Step Brothers rap album alongside co-star John C. Reilly that promises to rival their interpretation of the Bowie-Crosby Christmas classic “Little Drummer Boy”.

As Tweeted by director Adam McKay, the album is currently in-process, and has just acquired a “crazy big-time” producer. Needless to say, we can only hope the name ends with “West” and begins with . . . “Adam”. [via Vulture]
