Rivers Cuomo set to release The Pinkerton Diaries

We’re not ready to let go of Weezer just yet, so if they want to keep milking Pinkerton so we can turn a blind eye to albums like the Red Album and Hurley, we’re cool with that.
The commercial-flop-turned-cult-classic-turned-genre-milestone album got the reissue treatment in November, at which time Rivers Cuomo also announced an upcoming book called the Pinkerton Diaries. Initially scheduled for a fall 2010 release, Cuomo showed off the finished proofs in a Youtube video yesterday (posted below), confirming that it would be released in March.
As reported previously by Spinner, Cuomo announced at a press conference that The Pinkerton Diaries is “a collection of all my journals, emails, letters, photos, school papers—everything from those years ’94-’97, so you get an inside look as to exactly what I was thinking.”
Fingers crossed for a book tour on this one.
