Regardless of what you think of his recent music efforts—even though last year’s Everything Will Be Alright In the End was phenomenal—Weezer singer Rivers Cuomo is a gem. He operates a strange and wonderful snapchat. His YouTube account has a section of videos dedicated to tomfoolery (his words, not ours), which involves bizarre dancing tutorials. And he’s exceptional on Twitter, dropping navelgazing nerd gems such as, “I wish there was a Tinder for hooking up with cool, interesting people to talk to.” Us too, Rivers.

Weird as Cuomo can be, his mail, it turns out, can be even weirder. On Larry King Now, he revealed that he’s been receiving mail meant for Incubus singer Brandon Boyd—and he’s received it multiple times. “I get these elaborate fan packages, only they’re not for me, they’re for the singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd,” he told King.

Then, at a Reddit AMA, he mentioned that it’s a recurring problem: He’s received packages meant for Boyd, even when he moved. “Twice I’ve gotten fan mail at my house for Brandon Boyd, the singer of Incubus,” he wrote. “Two different houses even.”

Check his interview with King below.

No word on if Boyd is receiving fan mail meant for Cuomo. Though it’d be just plain creepy if the Incubus singer was receiving schoolgirl fanfic bound in Japanese stationary.
