And in “less shocking than the time some still thought Hole was still relevant circa 2010” news, Courtney Love’s Twitter rants have found her in a world of hurt – especially if by “hurt,” we mean “getting sued by a fashion designer for her 140-character rants.”

NME reports that the singer accused designer Dawn Simorangkir of being a “drug-pushing prostitute with a history of assault and battery who lost custody of her own child” (*cough*pot, kettle, black*cough*), having gone on to write:

“She has received a vast amount of money from me over $40 000 dollars and I do not make people get famous and get raped too!”

Needless to say, it’s on – especially since Simorangkir’s lawyer has admitted “there has never been anything like this case before.” In the meantime, Love’s camp will do their best to argue against the defamation suit and prove there’s been no damages – which may be difficult if the designer has learned the joys of screen capping.
