#1: Bruno Mars – Just The Way You Are

Wait, why do you have pics of yourself working out? And who is taking them? So many questions.

Worth Following?: No. He’s a supreme douche. Did you know that he also co-wrote Cee-Lo’s Fuck You? I still hate him.

#15. Ke$ha – Take It Off

So she uses a dollar sign instead of an S while tweeting too? $eriously?

Worth Following?: I’m gonna have to say yes. You get all the joy of basking in her ridiculous party girl antics, without having to listen to her nasally auto-tuned talk-singing. Also, did you see what she looked like in her freshman year of highschool?

#34. La Roux – Bulletproof

It’s somehow comforting to know that celebs have HP on the brain right now, too. ~RIP Dumbledore.~

Worth following?: She’s definitely got a bit more personality and insight than your average Top40 songstress, so if you’re a fan of the music, you’ll probably be a fan of the musings.

#4: Katy Perry – Teenage Dream

You can find a pretty accurate kit at any costume store, it’s called “Cupcake Skank.”

Worth Following?: Yes. Despite constant self promotion, Katy Perry’s twitter has some occasional funny/interesting commentary. Also, my Twitter-tolerance threshold is 50% higher when the Twitterer is a major babe.

#21. Mike Posner – Cooler Than Me

Eastbound & Down references lead me to believe that Mike Posner is at the very least approaching my level of coolness. Keep reaching, Pos’. You’re almost there.

Worth Following?:
Yes. The weird thing is, he actually seems like kind of a funny guy. In another tweet, he says “Just touched down in Vienna. Wiener Schnitzel on the reg.” WHO WOULDN’T WANT TO HANG OUT WITH THIS GUY?

#3. Usher – DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love

My god, Usher is so charming. When he beat out JT in the race to become Bieber’s manager, he solidified his coolness for another decade. “Yeahhh man.”

Worth Following?: No. He’s a serial re-tweeter, and until he starts UStreaming his latest dance moves nightly, it’s a no-go.

#30. Sara Bareilles – King of Anything

At least it’s not an aboot joke.

Worth following?: No. She seems sweet and all, but I’m not totally convinced she uses her twitter for anything beyond thanking her amazing fans. Yawnsville.

#20. Will.I.Am – Check it Out Ft. Nicki Minaj

I like that the hip-hop world mirrors the suburban family, wherein hilarious pot-smoking uncle gives eccentric spoiled brat nephew trouble for his weirdo outfit.

Worth Following?: Totally. Will.I.Am makes up words, and gives you a peek into his bizarro future-flowing lifestyle with plenty of twitpics and audio links to new productions.

#7. Taio Cruz – Dynamite

Don’t make me explain the difference between need and want to you, Taio. Shame on you.

Worth Following?: No. Taio is complete wallpaper. He’s always wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket, and I’m beginning to think it’s less of a trademark thing, and more of a hiding ugliness thing.

#2. Nelly – Just A Dream

Nelly, I agree that haters gon’ hate, but your point loses impact when it defies EVERY SINGLE RULE OF PROPER SPEECH.

Worth Following?: Yes. If you can handle the syntax, you’re in for a treat. Nelly’s music has taken a turn for the sappier side, but his tweets still bring the ‘tude! Plus, you can’t fault a guy who has made a career out of Country Grammar. #imjustkiddinlikejason
