The next album from The Walkmen, Lisbon is set to come out September 14 and the band gave a preview of it last night with a performance of the second track “Angela Surf City” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. After watching this performance it’s evident this song is well within the band’s musical scope as it has the same style as the track “The Rat,” a song the band is known for from their album Bows + Arrows. It doesn’t necessarily make it bad and the performance itself is very intense and shows The Walkmen might be a great band to see live, whether you’re from Orange County or not.

They have announced a full North American tour in support of Lisbon, which will kick off in Seattle this September. Canadian dates along the way include shows in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. See all of the dates below.

All Canadian Tour Dates:

September 9 – Malkin Bowl – Vancouver w/The National

September 10 – Malkin Bowl – Vancouver w/The National

October 8 – Cabaret Juste Pour Rire – Montreal

October 9 – The Phoenix – Toronto
