He also tackled Meat Loaf and Top Gun's "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin."

Will the celebrity lip sync bubble ever burst? Probably, but right now we’re still in a hot Hot HOT age for famous people mouthing the words of hits from yesterday and today for your amusement and Facebook likes.

Important religious figure Tom Cruise made his way to the Tonight Show to engage in a Lip Sync Battle versus host Jimmy Fallon. No weapons were busted out, only lip synced versions of recognizable cuts. Would you believe us if we told you that The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” was Cruise’s opening number? It was! Really! Cruise declared the tune to be the official song of the summer, so be sure to adjust your song of the summer dry erase board accordingly.

A super-trimmed down version of Meat Loaf’s “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” was also trotted out by Cruise and we even got a Top Gun duet homage with Cruise and Fallon “singing” “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling.” (R.I.P. Goose.) No need to send $20 to NBC for a written transcript of the battle, just hit play on that rectangle below to check out the showdown in its entirety.

Once Again: Tom Cruise lip synced to The Weekend.
