The Besnard Lakes announce North American tour

Montreal’s The Besnard Lakes have been shortlisted for this year’s Polaris Music Prize for their latest opus The Besnard Lakes Are The Roaring Night, a thundering album that delivers just under 50 minutes of emotion and wonder. This is the second time they’ve been shortlisted as their sophomore album The Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse narrowly lost out to Patrick Watson’s Close To Paradise back in 2007.

They’ve been touring in support of their new album since it’s release in March and have announced a North America tour for the fall where they’ll be playing Canadian dates alongside Band of Horses, Jenny and Johnny and Wintersleep. Listen to “Albatross” and check out the tour dates below.
