We want them all.

The Polaris Prize is more than a yearly gala; it’s more than a $50,000 cheque. In the 11 years since its inception, it’s become a year long institution in Canadian music. Fans watch eagerly in June when the long list rolls out; they argue passionately when it’s whittled down into a short list one month later. We do this too. But our low-key favourite thing about the Polaris Prize — y’know, aside from the prize itself — is its annual run of posters.

Every year, Polaris works with Canadian talent to craft a unique, limited edition poster for each of the 10 short listed albums, and every year, the results are absolutely beautiful. If you’re reading this, chances are you have one hanging up in your living room.

Check ’em out up top.

As always, this year’s run of posters is available at the Polaris Music Prize store, and as always, they’re in very limited supply. So, y’know… act fast.
