July 30, 2010
Last night Interpol performed the track “Barricade” off their forthcoming self-titled studio album on the Late Show with David Letterman. The song is the lead single off the album and will be released on August 3, while the album drops September 7. This is one of the first times we’ve seen the band perform without former bassist Carlos D, who participated in writing and recording the album. David Pajo, who toured with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs last year, will fill in for Carlos D on their tour in support their latest release. The band will be touring for the rest of the summer and have dates scheduled all the way up to December. Check the Canadian tour dates below.
All Canadian Tour Dates:
August 9 – Metropolis – Montreal
August 10 – Kool Haus – Toronto
