Foo Fighters performing the last song ever on Letterman might make you cry

David Letterman hosted his final Late Night show last night, and the show closed with a performance by his favourite band of his favourite song—the Foo Fighters returned to play “Everlong,” the same song they played when Letterman triumphantly returned from emergency heart surgery in 2000.
