Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil was arrested this past Sunday in Las Vegas on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. He spent the night in the Clark County jail and was released the next day after posting $2000 bail. Previously Neil has spent time in the slammer for drinking behind the wheel and getting into a accident back in 1984, which claimed the life of Hanoi Rocks drummer, Nicholas Dingley.

A mere 48 hours prior to his arrest, Neil was in Toronto promoting his latest tell-all book called Tattoos & Tequila about dealing with the tragedies in his life and overcoming alcohol and drug addiction. “The true story of me growing up till present day,” he says. Before his arrest the singer claimed he hadn’t used drugs in 20 years and had also stopped abusing alcohol. He was however seen sipping a beve at Cherry Cola’s Rock N’ Rola Cabaret Lounge in the city last Thursday.
