This morning's new music news; How To Destroy Angels have announced some details for their full-length LP, Vivian Girls bassist Kickball Katy has started a new band with Cat Power player Gregg Foreman and the band Apparatjik, featuring Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman have released a free EP.

Earlier this week How To Destroy Angels, consisting of Trent Reznor and his wife Mariqueen Maandig, released their first self-titled EP for free download. According to a note on their website, the band says they are currently working on a full-length album and hope to release it early next year. [How To Destroy Angels]

Vivian Girls bassist Kickball Katy has started a new band with Gregg Foreman, who plays with Chan Marshall in Cat Power. Calling themselves All Saints Day, the band have released an EP that will be available to download this Sunday. Until then, four tracks by the duo are currently streaming online via bandcamp. And Apparatjik, a band featuring Coldplay bassist Guy Berryman, have announced a free EP entiteld 4 Can Keep a Secret if 3 Of Them Are Dead that’s currently available to download from their website. The band’s debut LP will be released on June 15. [NME]
