Scottish band The View are preparing to release their third album following last year’s Which Bitch?. Currently the as yet untitled record is set for release sometime later this year and according to lead vocalist Kieren Webster it “sounds big. It has funky guitar and pop led tunes on it and a couple of things you wouldn’t expect.” [NME]

Wolf Parade’s third album entitled Expo 86 is currently streaming in its entirety over at Exclaim!. The album’s official release date is June 29 on Sub Pop. It was recorded over two weeks at Hotel2Tango in Montreal with Howard Bilerman. The band’s last album At Mount Zoomer was released in 2008. [Exclaim!]
