This morning's new music news; The first How To Destroy Angels EP has been released and is available for free download, Manic Street Preachers are set to release a new album this September, their tenth and Tokyo Police Club's upcoming album Champ is currently streaming online.

The first 6-track EP by Trent Reznor and his wife Mariqueen Maandig under the name How To Destroy Angels has been released as a free download. Get it at the band’s official website. [How To Destroy Angels]

Manic Street Preachers plan to release a new album called Postcards From A Young Man, their tenth, following Journal for Plague Lovers this September. “We’re going for big radio hits on this one,” lead singer James Dean Bradfield told NME. “It’s one last shot at mass communication.” [NME]

And Tokyo Police Club’s upcoming album Champ is currently streaming in its entirety on Exclaim!. This is the band’s second LP after 2008’s Elephant. The album officially drops June 8. [Exclaim!]
