Anytime we see the words Gorillaz and music video in the same sentence, immediatley we are excited to see what Damon Albarn and co. have in store for us this time. Like their video for “Stylo” off the recently released Plastic Beach, we saw a gun totting Bruce Willis chasing down the lads leading to an eventual plunge into the ocean. This time around for the track “Melancholy Hill,” the ocean is the main setting where we get to see cartoon renditions of the various contributors to the album such as Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed and members of The Clash. Watch the video below, directed by Jamie Hewlett and see how the members of the band discovered Plastic Beach.
