The New Pornographers Perform "Crash Years" on Fallon

May 6, 2010
Last night Jimmy Fallon called The New Pornographers “Canadian indie rock icons” before the band played the track “Crash Years” off the recently released album, Together. Featuring Neko Case on lead vocals, the Vancouver band delivered a tight performance both singing and whistling their way through the track with ease.
The new disc is the band’s fifth studio album and has appearances by Beirut’s Zach Condon, Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Will Sheff from Okervill River and horn players from Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings. The band will be touring Europe, but will return at the end of this month for shows across North America all summer.
