This morning's new music news; Crystal Castles will release their album digitally this Friday, Hole's Courtney Love has changed her name to Courtney Michelle and Lady Gaga is currently recording her next album while on tour.

Crystal Castles are rush releasing their new self titled album after it leaked online. Originally the release date was set for June 7, but it now will be available digitally this Friday. The hard copy will come out on May 24. Recently the band had to postpone their gig at London’s Heaven because of the ash from the volcano eruption in Iceland. [NME]

Hole frontwoman Courtney Love is dead apparently. Love has decided to change her name, or revert back, to Courtney Michelle. The rock star, born Courtney Michelle Harrison, says she will only answer to her new name. Hole’s new album Nobody’s Daughter drops this week. [Au Online]

And Lady Gaga is currently on tour and recording the follow-up to last year’s The Fame Monster. Gaga’s “Bad Romance” video has become the most watched video in YouTube history with nearly 180 million visits. Her label boss Akon has said, “Some of the songs I’ve heard are going to be crazy. She’s getting bigger and better.” No release date for the new disc has been set, but Gaga will be performing at this year’s Lollapalooza Festival. [Vibe]
