Speaking on the View, Courtney Love has said she would either like to see Ryan Gosling, already announced sort of, or James McAvoy play her late husband in the upcoming and long overdue biopic about Kurt Cobain. “He looks like [if] Edward Norton and Kurt had a baby,” Love said of British actor McAvoy, known for his previous roles in the movies Atonement, The Last King of Scotland and Wanted.

Love is part-producing the as-yet-untitled film, which will be a joint venture from the Universal and Working Title production companies. Oren Moverman, who co-wrote the Todd Haynes biopic about Bob Dylan called I’m Not There will be directing and re-writing the script originally written by David Benioff based on the Charles R. Cross book Heavier Than Heaven. [NME]
