This morning in new music news; Massive Attack promise more material in the form of an EP, Steven Tyler is sueing mad and Trent Reznor tweets that he's back in the studio.

After the release of their fifth studio album Heligoland, due out next week, Massive Attack have announced they are planning to unveil more material in the form of an EP this May. “It will probably be made up of tracks that we didn’t put on this record, and maybe some new stuff as well,” band leader Robert Del Naja said. Steven Tyler may have uttered the words, ‘I AM the pills’ before checking into rehab two months ago for painkiller addiction. Now it seems he is still on that Judge Dread kick and this time shouting ‘I AM Aerosmith’ claiming that he is irreplaceable. Tyler and his managers have released a statement saying they will take legal action if the remaining members of the band recruit a new lead singer. [SPIN]

And this year we might get to hear some new material from Trent Reznor. In a brief message via his twitter page, Reznor said he is back in the studio recording. Last February it was announced Nine Inch Nails would be going on hiatus, but Reznor left it open for further projects in the future.
