Noel Gallagher's request to read his victim impact statement in person at a Toronto court in front of the accused, Pickering's Daniel Sullivan, has been turned down. The sentencing date had originally been postponed so Gallagher could appear, but a decision has been made that it would not be suitable for him to attend.

The sentencing date had originally been postponed so Gallagher could appear, but a decision has been made that it would not be suitable for him to attend. Prosecutor Ruth Kleinhenz-Neilson said that there were scheduling difficulties and that a media circus would ensue with the presence of the former Oasis singer/guitarist.
