AUX TV's Cypher met up with Talib Kweli and DJ Hi-Tek who make up Reflection Eternal. Set to release a new album this year called Revolutions Per Minute, their first since 2000's classic Train of Thought, Kweli talks to us about where their music comes from.
AUX TV’s Cypher met up with Talib Kweli and DJ Hi-Tek who make up Reflection Eternal. Set to release a new album this year called Revolutions Per Minute, their first since 2000’s classic Train of Thought, Kweli talks about where their music comes from. “Our music is steeped in tradition,” he says. “We try to keep it new, we try to keep it forward and fresh, but it’s based on where we come from. We try to reflect the best of our past.” They released the track “Back Again” from the upcoming album last year.
