Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister was at the Consumer Electronics Show last week where he announced the band’s own branded pair of Motörheadphones would finally be headed to North America this April.
Telling the press that listening to music with other popular brands of headphones (like the Dr. Dre endorsed Beats) sound like “you’re listening through a towel,” Lemmy said Motörheadphones were made to emphasize music’s midrange.
Lemmy joked about the endorsement, saying “People say we’ve never sold out. No one ever approached us.” [via Billboard]
