Elvis Presley's used underwear fails to meet auction reserve

Our faith in humanity has been slightly restored with word that the pee-stained pair of Elvis underoos that was set to go up for auction failed to sell after falling short of the £7,000 (almost $11,000) reserve price. We’re still a little shaken that bidding made it to £5,000, but that they didn’t actually sell is a relief.

The auction in question wasn’t a total biff though, with the BBC reporting that the King’s annotated Bible sold for £59,000 (over $92,000), more than double its expected sale price.
