PREMIERE: Stream Aero Flynn's Bon Iver-produced debut

Aero Flynn might not yet be a household name, but one listen to his self-titled debut and it’s easy to see why we’re excited.

Self-produced with the help of Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, Josh Scott’s Aero Flynn is halfway between Eau Claire and Chicago. And with the help of his friends, Scott’s Wisconsin roots mix perfectly with his big city style; the ruminating acoustic plucks that open “Plates2” somehow fit with “Dk Pi”‘s synth-driven groove, while minimalist jams like “Maker” and “Brand New” give off shades of Kid A without really sounding anything like Radiohead.

Aero Flynn is, then, an album as diverse as it was anticipated. It’s deeply personal, but not at all alienating. And that’s why one week before its official release, we’re ecstatic to stream it below.
