Tyler, the Creator directs moving video for anonymous piano pop ballad

When Odd Future manager Christian Clancy played “Glowing” for Tyler, the Creator earlier this year, the rapper-turned-director was so enamoured by the song that he decided to write and direct its video.

The catch? Nobody’s saying who the band is.

“Glowing” is a delightfully dystopic love story told through two actors that meet as kids and get lost in each other as the world around them crumbles through the years. It’s resonant and, for Tyler, proof that he’s capable of more than boner jokes and trashwang. [via NPR]
