In spite of the fact that they’re rumoured to be breaking up or going on hiatus or whatever, Fucked Up has announced that they’re organizing a couple of hometown charity shows towards the end of December, during which they’ll raise money while running through David Comes to Life from front to back. Better yet, they’ve announced that they’ll be bringing some friends along.

On Tuesday, December 20th Fucked Up will play to benefit Barrier Lake Solidarity alongside PS I Love You. Sloan hits the stage the next night supported by Ohbijou and Bonjay to help raise money for Counterfit. Both shows are set to take place at the Great Hall (1087 Queen St. West).

More bands and possibly more shows could be announced in the coming weeks, with the band’s blog noting that they’ll announce more details (including ticket prices) soon. According to the post, they just wanted to “get a bit of info out there before you made plans or bought Headstones tickets.”
