R. Kelly will absolutely not be supporting his most high-profile com-pee-triot by playing Trump's inauguration.

Though it seems like a match made in pee-radise, R. Kelly has made it clear he won’t be performing at Donald Trump’s inaugural ball on January 20th.

Through a Twitter post made on a curiously yellow background yesterday, R. Kelly said that he had no intention or interest in playing the event, despite rumours flowing to the contrary:

Now, why would rumours be circulating about R. Kelly playing for Trump? I can’t think of any reasons besides the fact that they’re both successful businessmen. I guess it might have something to do with the report on an unverified dossier published by Buzzfeed that alleged Trump hired prostitutes in 2013 to urinate on a hotel bed in Russia that the Obamas once slept in. Kelly, as we know, faced a somehow even worse scandal back in 2002, when a video allegedly showing Kelly having sex with and urinating on an underage girl was sent anonymously to the offices of the Chicago Sun-Times.

So, even though it might seem very appropriate for Kelly to with Trump’s brand, it looks like he won’t be taking advantage of the opportunity, leaving the booking-challenged Trump team with their current all-star inaugural lineup of The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Jackie Evancho from America’s Got Talent,  and “the Mid-Atlantic’s hottest party band” The Mixx.
