Vince Staples is a coupon cutting video game troll

In a new interview with Power 106 in Los Angeles, hip-hop luminary and bane of concerned Christian moms everywhere, Vince Staples touched on everything from his love of stealing Bed Bath & Beyond coupons from gated communities and the fact that he has 100,000 Gamestop points. Oh, and also the fact that Donald Trump being elected “makes sense.”

Here’s some advice on frugality straight from the mouth of Vince: “You got the $20 off Bed Bath and Beyond coupon, right? Then you got the 20% off, you can use five at a time. So you use two $20 off, and you can use the rest 20% off, and then you put your card on it and get your extra 10% off the top, and you walking out of there doin’ nothin’.” Despite this, Vince is of the opinion that people on Extreme Couponing are “going too hard”.

Vince also discusses some intimate details of his video gaming, relating that he has in excess of 100k Gamespot points (the most a clerk had ever seen), that he loves WWI multiplayer shooter Battlefield 1, the PC mastery of fellow rapper Logic, and the fashion sense of his Watch Dogs 2 character (Oakland bucket hat, hyphy glasses, 90’s-as-fuck parental advisory tee). He says he’s been banned more than once online, and that when other online gamers come at him with slurs, he has a strategy to get them back.

“I got more money than you, so what I’m going to do is I’m going to be on here every day, and I’m going to find you, because I don’t got to go to work, cuz I don’t got a real job,” he said. “Wherever you at, I’m going to find you, bro. I’m a bust your ass.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Vince discusses the inevitability of Trump’s election, through the opinion of his grandmother: “She said, ‘you n*ggas is crazy if you think that lady is going to win.” “I personally don’t believe any person is 100% good or 100% bad,” Vince continued. “It say less about him and more about us, one another. If you saying certain things and people is agreeing with it, then that’s how they feel. What you gonna do, pop him?

So, all in all, a pretty stellar interview.
