Taylor Swift Now will be the one-stop destination for all never-before-seen Tay-Tay media.
Well, it was always an inevitable pit stop on her glorious ascension to world domination: Taylor Swift is getting her own TV channel, courtesy of DirecTV.
Taylor Swift Now will launch as part of AT&T’s TV streaming service, DirectTV Now, the telecom giant announced yesterday. The channel will air nonstop concert footage, behind-the-scenes features, rare performances, and of course, Tay’s complete library of music videos, some of which will be exclusive to the channel and have never before been seen.
The channel-exclusive content will be packaged as 13 chapters, a nod to Taylor’s “lucky” number. Wait a minute…13? That girl just doesn’t care what anyone thinks!
“We’re thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways,” AT&T Entertainment Group CEO John Stankey said back in October, when he originally announced the company and Swift had reached a multi-year deal, of which this channel was presumably a part.
DirecTV Now launches November 30th, but when Taylor’s streaming video repository will be available is currently unknown, it’s just “coming soon.” Stay Tay-ed in, true Tay-lievers.
