Malcolm Gladwell and Radric Davis: a match made in pop culture heaven.
Our cultural fascination with odd couples stretches back into antiquity – remember the OG Thor and Loki? – but now a new contender has entered the media terrordome: author Malcolm Gladwell and sex narcoleptic Gucci Mane.
The blossoming bromance started, as it now always does, with a simple tweet, alerting Gladwell to the fact that Gucci had been spotted with a copy of David and Goliath (hey, how’s that for another primo odd couple):
Gladwell seemed remarkably enthused about the idea of Gucci enjoying his latest, tenuously proven pop sociology effort:
I guarantee if we could see Gladwell’s Google searches that night, though, they would include “who is Gucci Mane?”. Just a feeling. Anyway, Gucci’s apparently been a fan of Gladwell’s for awhile:
Could this all be leading to a chapter about Radric Davis on Gladwell’s next nonfiction bestseller? At the very least, Gucci can get some tips from a former tobacco shill about how to make Bart more effectively smoky.
